Positions available on county boards

Montgomery County has volunteer positions on County appointed Boards or Commissions available.
Positions are available on the Board of Health, County Conservation Board and Eminent Domain Compensation Commission.
Anyone interested in serving, can stop by the Auditor's office at the Courthouse located at 105 E Coolbaugh St. and pick up an application.
Per Iowa's House File243 the county attempts to make all boards and commissions gender balanced. All interested individuals are asked to have their completed application returned to the Auditor's Office, 105 E. Coolbaugh St, PO Box 469, Red Oak, 51566 by 9 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 12, 2012.
Individuals must be reside within the county.
