Todd Gilleland, 41

Todd Allen Gilleland, 41, Red Oak, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, Oct. 23, 2022, at his home.
Todd was born July 16, 1981, in Atlantic, the son of Roger and Nancy (Young) Gilleland. He was raised in Elliott and Stanton, graduating from Stanton High School in 2000. Todd worked for many years for the Montgomery County Family YMCA as the property manager. His hobbies included watching football, shooting guns, fishing, and attending his children’s sporting events.
Preceding him in death was his father, Roger Gilleland.
Survivors include his companion of many years, Jessica Abraham of Red Oak; mother, Nancy Schnormeier and husband Alan of Bellevue, Neb.; children, Alexa Gilleland and companion Brad Spring of Red Oak; Hunter Gilleland and Brooklyn Gilleland of Red Oak; Chloe Edie of Red Oak; and Carson Van Scoy of Red Oak; siblings, Jason Gilleland of Red Oak, and Blake Schnormeier and wife Bailey of Creston; grandchild, Mason Spring of Red Oak; many aunts, uncles, nieces, a nephew, and many other relatives and friends.
A celebration of life service was held Saturday, Oct. 29, 2022, at the Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel. Burial was in the Evergreen Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family.
