Wolverines edge Sidney 17-12

East Mills rallied from a 11-2 deficit to down Sidney 17-12 in Corner Conference softball Thursday.
Mackenzie Stearns led the Wolvernes with three hits and five runs driven in. Izzy Blanton and Rilee Vasquez had two hits and drove in two runs each.
Lauren Brown scattered seven hits and allowed four runs while striking out three to earn the win in the circle for East Mills.
Avary Gamber took the loss for the Cowgirls after allowing six hits and five earned runs in four innings of work.

Griswold/CAM 17,
Bedford 0
Griswold/CAM smacked 15 hits in a 17-0 shutout win over Bedford in Corner Conference softball Thursday.
Ashten Dorsey and Braxton Gipple had three hits and combined to drive in six runs, and Courtney Follman hit a home run and drove in two runs for the Tigers.
Ailey Wahlert earned the win in the circle and helped her own cause at the plate with two hits and three RBIs.
 Macy Musich took the loss after allowing 12 hits and 13 earned runs.

East Mills 33,
Southwest Valley 11
East Mills scored 11 first inning runs on its way to a 33-11 victory over Southwest Valley in non-conference softball last Wednesday.
The Wolverines collected 13 hits in the victory. Kate Ripperger had three hits and drove in two runs and Brooke Jones had two hits and three RBIs.
Jones was credited with the win in the circle after allowing one hit and five earned runs in 1 1/3 innings of work.
October Edwards took the loss for the Timberwolves. The eighth grader allowed four hits and four earned runs in her one inning.
Brinkley Venteicher had three hits and drove in three runs for Southwest Valley.

Griswold/CAM blanked East Mills 24-0 in Corner Conference softball last Tuesday in Malvern.
The Tigers led 4-0 after two innings then blew the game open with a 16-run third frame.
Amanda Houser had three hits and drove in three runs, and Ailey Wahlert drove in three runs and picked up the win in the circle after allowing just one hit and striking out five. each drove in (3/3, 3 RBI, 3 SB, 3 R), Ailey Wahlert (1/1, 2B, 2 RBI + 3 1/3 IP, 1 H, 1 BB, Isabella Blanton had East Mills’ lone hit.
