RED OAK – A 12-member jury needed a little more than an hour to return a not guilty verdict Tuesday in an assault trial involving two Stanton men.

DES MOINES – Montgomery County’s unemployment rate increased to the state average in June but remains considerably lower from 2013, according to data released by the Iowa Workforce Division.
