Wolverines sweep Lenox

The East Mills volleyball team swept Lenox in dominating fashion 25-10, 25-21, 25-15 in non-conference volleyball Thursday in Malvern.
“We passed the ball very well the entire match,” said East Mills coach Connie Viner. “The second set was riddled with hitting errors, but the girls pushed through and found the court.  I’m very proud of this team for not getting rattled and picking each other up.”
Brooke Jones led the Wolverine attack with 11 kills. Ellie Hagen added nine kills and Loycee Palmer six.
Venna Sayers and Brynn Williams paced the offense with 16 and 14 set assists each, respectively.
Ellie Hagen notched 13 digs and was a perfect 18-of-18 on serves with one ace. , Ruby Hastie 12, Venna Sayers 10.

With the win, the Wolverines improve to 8-1 overall and 1-0 in the Corner Conference this season.
