The following are the winners of the Essex 2011 Community Club lighting contest:

— Most Creative: George & Catherine Ross;
— Most Animated: Mic & Vicky Trauernicht
— Best Religious: Les & Carla Kirchert;
— Best Door: Jesse & Cathy Shane;
— Best Porch: Lori Racine;
— Best Business Wreath: Bank Iowa;
— Best Business Window: Tech Support Services;
— Grand Prize: Jack & Pam Allumbaugh;
Each winner receives $10 in "ECC Currency" to be redeemed at one of the Sponsor Businesses.
This year, the Essex Community Club has given $1,650 of "ECC Currency" in prizes and awards ... all of which stays with a local business. Jolene Younggren chaired the contest.
