Villisca man held on abuse charge
A Villisca man is being held in the Montgomery County Law Enforcement Center on $25,000 cash bond, charged with second degree sexual abuse, a Class B felony.
The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office on Thursday arrested Robert Dumler, 30, following an investigation that began May 2, according to a press release from the office.
“The sheriff’s office would like to thank Project Harmony and the Department of Human Services for their assistance,” the release said.
Magistrate Ivan Miller, after setting bond, also issued a restraining order in protection of the victim.
Documents filed in the District Court for Montgomery County allege the victim is a minor female family member. The documents also say Dumler admitted commiting acts “several times” over the past two years.
