RO track teams lower times
The Red Oak boys track team placed fifth in Shenandoah on Monday, April 11. Senior Baylor Bergren won the 1600m after a big kick on the last lap to edge out Glenwood’s Bryant Keller and set a new personal record at 4:43.56.
“We were so happy to finally race tonight,” Red Oak boys head track coach Sueann French said. “We saw some great things tonight with Baylor Bergren winning the 1600 and Jack Kling in a photo finish in the 400 grabbing second place by a hair.
