Sports Calendar: May 23

Before going into the state track schedule, we do have one update for the regional tennis tournament. The regional final between Red Oak and Shenandoah scheduled for Saturday was postponed officially on Thursday. The final will now take place at 3 p.m. Tuesday in Shenandoah.

With that, here is the current schedule for the final day of the state track meet at Drake University in Des Moines:

• 9:50 a.m. Class 1A and 2A 800-meter race- Rebekah Topham (Griswold) and Kate Walker (Red Oak)
• 12:25 p.m. Class 1A Boys 100-meter dash final- Derek Kirchhoff (Griswold)
• 12:45 p.m. Class 2A Boys 110-meter high hurdles final- Tony Klocke (Southwest Valley)
• 1:45 p.m. Class 1A and 2A Boys 1,600-meter race- Cody McClintock (Essex) and Logan LeRette (Red Oak)
• 2:15 p.m. Class 1A and 2A Girls 1,500-meter race- Rebekah Topham/Alyx Flippin (Griswold) and Kate Walker (Red Oak)
