Pamala Carbaugh, 65

Pam Carbaugh, 65, Red Oak, passed away after an extended illness on Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2022, at her home in Red Oak, with her family by her side.
Pamala Jayne Carbaugh, the daughter of Donald and Sharlene (Clark) Burg, was born Feb. 14, 1957, in Red Oak. Pam lived her entire adult years in the Red Oak area. On Nov. 3, 1972, Pam was united in marriage to Dennis Carbaugh at Climax Church, rural Red Oak. They just celebrated their 50th anniversary.
Over the years, Pam worked in retail in Red Oak, and for 10 years with Dollar General as a district manager, setting up new stores. She was also a caregiver at heart; Pam enjoyed helping her daughter with her in-home daycare and for five years took care of her dad in his home.
Pam enjoyed playing games, camping, sewing, watching MASH, reading, and working word search puzzles. She was a wonderful baker and loved making candies, which she shared with people all over her neighborhood. Pam loved her family, spending time with her children and especially the grandchildren, and dog, Bella Marie.
Pam was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Donald “Butch” Burg, Jr.; infant twin sisters,  Sharon and Karen Link; and granddaughter, Evelynn Mosier.
Pam is survived by her husband of 50 years, Dennis Carbaugh of Red Oak; children, David (Leslie) Carbaugh of Red Oak, Dionne (James) Binau of Red Oak, Christi (Aaron) Johnson of  Red Oak, and Kimberly Mosier of St. Joseph, Mo.; grandchildren, Darrion (James) Navin, Tyler McMann, Dakota McMann, Ashley Binau, Emily Carbaugh, Trenton Binau, Hunter McMann, Brooklyn Johnson, Elizabeth Carbaugh, Madilyn Cunningham, Abigail Johnson, Molly Cunningham, Andrew Johnson, Isaac Mosier, Makayla Mosier, Corbyn Mosier, and Carsyn Mosier; great-grandchildren, Clark Woods and Emma and Jasper Navin; brother, John Burg of Amarillo, Texas; and sister, Shari Hooper of Williams; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral Service was held on Monday, Dec. 5, 2022, at Sellergren-Lindell-DeMarce Funeral Home, Red Oak. Burial was at Evergreen Cemetery, Red Oak. Rev. Ricky Rohrig, Sr. officiated.
