Kathy Collins, 70

Kathy Ann Collins, aged 70, passed away on May 3, 2026, at the University Medical Center in Omaha, NE. Born on September 20, 1955, Kathy was known for her giving nature and great sense of humor, qualities that endeared her to all who knew her.
Kathy’s early education was at Coburg School, followed by Red Oak Community School where she graduated in 1973. She dedicated many years of service as an office clerk at Pamida and held various roles at Nishna Productions. Her favorite aspect of her career was working with clients, who she considered part of her extended family. This commitment to others was a testament to her caring personality.
Outside of work, Kathy enjoyed crocheting, playing bingo, cards, and dominos, activities that reflected her sociable and engaging nature.
Kathy was preceded in death by her father, Eugene Sparr; mother, Verlene Sparr; husband, Ross Collins; sons, David McCue, Tim Collins and David Collins; and grandson, Brandon Collins. She is survived by her son Andy McCue; daughter, Lorraine Collins; and sister, Nancy Sparr and many other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions to support the family are appreciated. Kathy’s memory will be cherished by all who knew her, as she leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and generosity.
