Donald Buffon, 87

Donald E. Buffon, 87, Overland Park, Kan., passed away on May 1, 2024, after a brief illness.
Don was the son of the late Fay and Bernice Buffon of Red Oak and was born and raised in Red Oak, graduating from Red Oak High School in 1954. In 1961, he graduated from the University of
Omaha in accounting and finance. He worked for Hallmark Cards in Kansas City for many years.
Don married Patricia (Pat) Torrence of Red Oak in 1958 and was happily married for 66 years. Don and Pat have three children, Lizabeth McClain (Greg), Lisa Hilliard (John), and Mark Buffon (Amy Dix). They have six grandchildren (one deceased); and three great-grandchildren.
Don’s family included his in-laws, Bob and Bunny Torrence, of Red Oak; Carolyn Fleming of Colorado Springs, Colo.; Patrick Fleming (Shannon) of Torrington, Wyo.; Lois Pendleton of Red Oak; and numerous family and friends.
May Don rest peacefully in God’s hands.
