Darlene Bolton, 93

Darlene Jean Bolton, 93, of Council Bluffs, formerly of Henderson, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2022, at Primrose Assisted Living.
Darlene was born Aug. 5, 1929, in Council Bluffs, the daughter of Earl Chalmers Clark and Anna Marie Sophia (Krakau) Clark.
Preceding her in death were her infant daughter; her parents; her husband, Harvey, in 1998; and one granddaughter.
Survivors include her children, Harvey “Kenneth” Bolton of Fall Creek Wis.; Deborah Ann Deitchler of Council Bluffs; and Rodney Allen Bolton of Tabor; eight grandchildren; step-grandchildren, Robyn Matheny of Omaha, Neb.; Ben Matheny of Omaha, Neb.; and Whitney Feldick of Omaha, Neb.; and 21 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life service was held Saturday, Sept. 10, 2022, at the Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel in Red Oak. Burial was in the Macedonia Cemetery. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund is being established in Darlene’s name.
