Historical commission seeks volunteers

The City of Red Oak has two open volunteer positions on the City’s Historical Preservation Commission.  
If anyone is interested in serving, stop by Red Oak City Hall, 601 N. 6th St., and pick up an application or download one from the city’s website, city.redoakiowa.com.  
Per Iowa’s House File 243 the City attempts to make all boards and commissions gender balanced. Either of those positions may be either residents of the City or may reside elsewhere within Montgomery County.
Applications will be accepted until the positions are filled.
