Timberwolves ninth at Tri-Center Invite

Southwest Valley finished eighth in the team standings at the Tri-Center Invitational Wrestling Tournament in Neola Saturday.
Hinton won the team title with a score of 208.
The Timberwolves tallied 97 points for eighth.
Carson Wetzel (165 pounds) led Southwest Valley with his second place finish.
Carson Cooper (150) and Griffin Wetzel (190) added fourth place finishes, Wyatt Shires (132) was fifth and Degan Farwell (120), Ben Waddell (126) and Brody Sparks (138) all placed sixth.

Timberwolves perfect at AC/GC
Southwest Valley stayed perfect in duals this season with a 3-0 record in a triangular at Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center Thursday.
The Timberwolves notched wins over AC/GC 42-36, East Union 36-30 and Van Meter 40-32.
Griffin Wetzel (190-pounds) went 3-0 in his matches to lead Southwest Valley.
Krew Schafer (106), Degan Farwell (120), Ben Waddell (126), Wyatt Shires (132), Brody Sparks (138), Brylan Marks (157) and Gavin Wetzel (165) all won two matches.
