Artists wanted for April 27 art show at IWCC

 Iowa Artists Region 9 Art Show is planned for Saturday, April 27, 2019 at Iowa Western Community College inCouncil Bluffs .  Artist sign in is from 9 until 10 and the show will end between 3 and 4 in the afternoon.  The show is free to the public to view the artwork and they are invited to attend after 10 in the morning when the art will be ready for viewing.  The show will be held in Art Room 216 at Iowa Western Community College in Council Bluffs.

   The art show is free to all Current Iowa Artists members and new members may join the day of the show for the annual dues of $25.  Each artist may submit up to 3 pieces of art.  Rob Walters, Art Professor at Iowa Western Community College will award First, Second, Third and Honorable Mention ribbons.  The First Place winners will advance to the Iowa Artists State Show in Ames on Saturday, May 18, 2019.  Cash prizes are awarded to top winners at the State Show.

    A picnic style lunch with make-your-own deli sandwiches will be available to participating artists and their guests for $3 each payable at lunch time.   Please indicate your plan to join us for lunch when you register with Delayne Segar.

  Iowa Artists is a state wide group.  More information about the group may be found at our web site, iowaartists.us.  Region 9 includes the counties of  Harrison, Shelby, Audubon,Pottawattamie, Cass, Mills, Montgomery, Fremont and Page in Iowa.  Iowa Artists is open to all artists who are Iowa Residents and over the age of 18.
