ACCIDENTS

• On March 12 at about 7:23 p.m. Red Oak Police officers investigated an accident in the area of 6^th and Grimes Streets. Wilma Dykes, 55, Red Oak, driving a 2007 KIA Sorento, was attempting to park in front of a 1998 Dodge Stratus which was legally parked when she became distracted and backed into the Sorento. Damage to the Sorento was estimated at $500 and damage to the Stratus was estimated at $2,000. Dykes was cited for failure to have a valid driver’s license.
