YMCA and HyVee hosts last soupfest

The Montgomery County Family YMCA and Hy-Vee Food Store of Red Oak, held the final 2009-10 SoupFest of the season April 9.
The audience had a luncheon of soup, crackers, rolls, lemonade and birthday cake provided by Hy-Vee and salads provided by members of the YMCA Auxiliary Club.
April birthday’s were celebrated as well, including Ruby Veon of Red Oak and Pat Gilliland of Stanton.
Patsy Norris of Red Oak, along with her piano students provided a program for the audience after the meal.
The YMCA invites people to watch for more information this coming September for the 2010-11 SoupFest Program Series which will be held starting in October.
