Wedding Announcement

Julie Sunberg and Alec Summers were married March 18, 2017, at The Fountains Ballroom in Glenwood, with Jim Summers, Jr., uncle of the groom, officiating.

The bride is the daughter of John and Lisa Sunberg of Red Oak. She is a graduate of the University of Nebraska Omaha with an art major, art history minor/graphic design emphasis. She is currently employed at Oriental Trading Co. in Omaha as a graphic designer.

The groom is the son of Jon and Wendy Summers of Omaha. He graduated in May from the University of Nebraska Omaha, with an art major, art history minor/graphic design emphasis. He is currently employed at PetSmart, pursuing full-time employment in his field.

The matron of honor was Ashlyn Seabaugh, friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Molly Sunberg, cousin of the bride; Katie Kriegler, cousin of the groom; Amanda Summers, sister-in-law of the groom; and Emily Sippel and Bry Lofreddo, friends of the couple. Flower girls were Brooklyn Michaelsen, friend of the bride; and Adalyn Summers, niece of the groom.

The best man was Zac Summers, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Ethan Summers, brother of the groom; Joshua Sunberg, brother of the bride; Joe Cowman and TJ Kriegler, cousins of the groom; and Andrew Schill, friend of the groom. Ring bearer was Cameron Sands, friend of the bride.

Following their honeymoon in Orlando, the couple is making their home in West Omaha.
