Weather Watch: Severe Thunderstorm Watch in effect until 2 p.m.

UPDATE: The severe thunderstorm watch has been canceled.

RED OAK -- Southwest Iowa is currently in a severe thunderstorm watch until 2 p.m. This includes the counties of Montgomery, Page, Mills and Cass.

Meteorologists were tracking a thunderstorm seven miles Southeast of Macedonia at 12:32 p.m., moving Southeast at 30 miles per hour.

Locations impacted include Red Oak, Stanton, Villisca, Essex and Viking Lake State Park.
