Walter ‘Wil’ Wilhelm, 93, passed away June 5, 2010.
Walter Wilson ‘Wil’ Wilhelm was born on Nov. 10, 1916, in Otoe County, Neb., to Walter and Effie (VanSickle) Wilhelm. Wilson was married to the late Mabel (Heather) Wilhelm. On Feb. 28, 1987, Wilson married Carol Lundquist in Villisca. Survivors are his wife Carol Wilhelm of Villisca; children, Heather Nasi of Gallup, N.M., Connie Walters of Guss, Rex Wilhelm of Stuart, Tom Wilhelm of Dallas, Pa., and Judy Havick of Lincoln, Neb.; 18 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; step daughters Valeria Goldsmith of Corning, Rhonda Wade of Savannah, Mo.; step son Andrew Lundquist of Corning; brother-in-law Robert Thompson of Colo.
Funeral services were held June 8 at Walker-Merrick Funeral Home in Clarinda, with interment in the Guss Cemetery.
