Villisca man arrested on sexual abuse charges

A Villisca man is in custody on sexual abuse charges.

On July 22, Adams County Sheriff's deputies arrested David Charles Crawford, 74, of Villisca, on charges of sexual abuse third degree, lacivious acts with a child, enticing a minor under 13 years old, all Class C felonies, and indecent contact with a child, an aggravated misdemeanor.

Crawford was transported to the Adams County Jail and held without bond pending an appearance before the county magistrate.
