UPDATED: Sports Calendar: June 12

We do have a couple of postponements. The Stanton-Sidney doubleheader has been postponed. The baseball game will be played June 16, while the softball game will be played July 3.

The Essex/Fremont-Mills softball and baseball doubleheader has also been postponed. The games have been re-scheduled for June 23.

The East Mills baseball game at Clarinda Academy has also been postponed. No make-up date has been announced.

Friday will be a day spent drying out after all the rain the area received Thursday. Here is a tentative schedule for Friday.

The Red Oak softball team will be home for a varsity doubleheader against St. Albert that starts at 5:30 p.m. The doubleheader was originally scheduled for Thursday, but was postponed because of the inclement weather.

Southwest Valley will be playing softball and varsity doubleheaders against Martensdale-St. Marys. The JV teams play first at 6 p.m. The baseball game has been moved to Martensdale, while the softball game will remain in Corning.

The Griswold baseball and softball teams will also be playing, but at different locations. The softball team will compete at the Creston softball tournament, which starts at 4 p.m. The baseball team meanwhile heads to Avoca to take on AHSTW as varsity will be playing at 7:30 p.m.
