Topham races to top in Missouri Valley conference

Rebekah Topham, Griswold graduate, recently ran the 1,600 meter (4:49.71) and 3,000 meter (9:50.64) runs for Wichita State University, winning the conference championships in both races.
Topham, the only girl in Iowa history to have four cross country state titles, has earned many medals and awards her two years at Wichita State University. Topham is the 2016 cross country champion for the all-Missouri Valley conference, and was named female athlete of the year for cross country.
Topham and the Shockers track team will travel to the University of Arkansas on March 23, for the season’s debut of the outdoor track season.
