Timberwolves fall to St. Albert, Audubon
CORNING — The Southwest Valley tennis teams dropped both of their meets last week against non-conference opponents.
The most recent loss came Friday when the girls lost to St. Albert in Council Bluffs 7-0, while the boys lost at home to St. Albert 8-0.
Last Tuesday, the Timberwolves also lost to Audubon.
The boys were home as they lost 8-1 to the Wheelers. The lone win for the boys team came in doubles, courtesy of John Kinser and Nick Frede.
The girls meanwhile lost 8-1 at Audubon. Kayla Hartstack picked up the lone varsity win for the girls team.
The teams were scheduled to be back in action Monday when they faced Shenandoah.
Southwest Valley returns to the courts Tuesday as they split up the teams to face Clarke.
The girls will be home, while the boys travel to Clarke High School in Osceola.
Both meets are scheduled for a 4:30 p.m. start.
