Suspect sought in stabbing incident

The Red Oak Police Department is searching for a suspect in connection with a stabbing incident in Red Oak on June 25.

Authorities said the suspect in the incident, which occurred in the 400 block of E. Maple Street, is Gordon Leroy Currin III. Currin is described as a white male, 6’2”, 230 lbs, with blond hair and blue eyes.

Currin’s whereabouts are currently unknown at this time. Anyone with any information is urged to call the Red Oak Police Department at 623-6500, or call Crime Stoppers at 888-434-2712. Callers can remain anonymous.

Residents are advised not to approach the subject, as he is considered armed and dangerous.
