COUNCIL BLUFFS — Former Red Oak High School football player and wrestler Austin Streicher won his second amateur Mixed Martial Arts fight Saturday night as part of the Victory Fighting Championship's Fight Night at Harrah's Stir Cove.
Streicher (2-0) defeated Erik Rostvet via a split decision. The scores were 29-28, 28-29 and 29-28. The fight was Streicher's second in the VFC promotion.
Also on the card was James Gilvin, who lost via TKO at the end of round two to Jovani Figueroa.
The main event of the card featured a pro bout as Victor Moreno scored a head kick knockout in 1:57 against Brian Houston.
