Sports Calendar: March 31

The wait is finally over! Bring on the spring sports season! There's quite a few items on the calendar for this Tuesday. With temperatures expected to be in the 70s with plenty of sunshine, the weather will make for a nice start to the outdoor season.

Both Red Oak track teams will be in action for Tuesday as they take part in the Hawkeye 10 Southern Division meet. The teams will be competing at separate locations. The boys will be at Clarinda, while the girls compete at Shenandoah. Both meets are scheduled until 4:30 p.m.

The other big area track meet will take place in Audubon as the Griswold boys team takes part in the Wheeler Relays. The meet starts at 4:30 p.m.

The golf season starts as well as both East Mills teams travel to Sidney for a meet against Sidney, Heartland Christian and Nishnabotna. The meet starts a 4 p.m.
