Sports Calendar: April 8

The spring sports season continues Tuesday with several more track meets around the area.

In Glenwood, the Boys Ram Relays will be taking place. The Red Oak boys track team will be at the meet, which is scheduled to start at 5 p.m. Other Hawkeye 10 teams, as well as a couple of Council Bluffs schools will also be in attendance.

Meanwhile, Clarinda will be the other site for the big track meet as area girls teams will be competing. Red Oak, Griswold, Stanton, Essex, East Mills and Southwest Valley are expected to be in attendance for this meet, which starts at 4:30 p.m. Some of the other schools expected for the meet include Atlantic, Creston, Bedford, Glenwood, Lenox, Lewis Central, Mount Ayr, Shenandoah, Treynor, Riverside and Sidney.

There will be a couple of golf meets scheduled for Tuesday. The Southwest Valley golf teams will be competing at East Union at 4 p.m.

Meanwhile, the East Mills golf team heads to Glenwood to take on the Rams. That meet starts at 4 p.m.
