Sports Calendar: April 15

With the weather forecast looking slightly better compared to the weekend (slightly cooler than last week), there's no shortage of sporting events going on around the area for Tuesday.

The only meet re-scheduled to Tuesday is the Mustang Relays which takes place at 4:30 p.m. at the Ray Graves Track in Shenandoah. Red Oak, Griswold, East Mills, Essex and Southwest Valley are scheduled to be at the meet.

The other big meet in the area takes place in Griswold. Red Oak, Southwest Valley and Essex are scheduled to compete. The meet starts at 5 p.m.

In tennis, the Red Oak boys team will be home for one of their only home meets this season when they host Audubon. The action starts at 4:30 p.m. at the Red Oak High School courts.

Additionally, the Southwest Valley tennis teams will be in action when they take on Clarinda. The girls will be home in Corning, while the boys go to Clarinda. Both meets start at 4:30 p.m.

For golf, the day starts early in Shenandoah as the Mustangs will be hosting their annual boys golf tournament. Red Oak, East Mills and Southwest Valley are scheduled to be there. The tournament starts at 1:30 p.m. at the American Legion Country Club.

Meanwhile, the Griswold golf team heads to Neola to take on Tri-Center. The meet starts at 4 p.m.
