The weekend is finally here and there is one big event scheduled for the calendar for this Friday.
It all takes place in Clarinda as the Cardinal Relays are scheduled for a 4:30 p.m. start at Clarinda High School.
Red Oak, Stanton, Griswold, East Mills, Essex and Southwest Valley are among the area teams scheduled to compete. Also competing will include Glenwood, Shenandoah, Creston, Nishnabotna, Riverside, South Page, St. Albert, Thomas Jefferson, Treynor, Sidney Tri-Center, Clarinda Academy and Lenox.
The only other event scheduled for Friday will be in golf as Griswold hosts Missouri Valley. The action is scheduled to start at 4 p.m.
