It's Friday and there are a few sporting events on the calendar for this day. The good news is there is no rain in the forecast as temperatures. Winds will be breezy, however, as temperatures might reach the low 60s.
The big track event on the calendar for Friday will be the Cardinal Relays at Clarinda High School. Red Oak, Stanton, Southwest Valley, East Mills, Essex and Griswold are scheduled to compete at the meet, which starts at 4:30 p.m.
The only other event on the calendar for Friday will be the Southwest Valley boys tennis team traveling west to take on Glenwood. The meet was originally scheduled for Thursday, but was postponed due to inclement weather. The meet is now scheduled for 4 p.m.
