Sports Calendar: April 10

It's another day with more area sports going on for this Thursday.

The big track meet for Thursday takes place in Red Oak as the girls will host the invitational, which starts at 5 p.m.

Stanton, Griswold, Essex, Southwest Valley, Glenwood, Creston, Bedford, Sidney, South Page, Lenox, Clarinda, Clarinda Academy, Shenandoah and St. Albert are expected to be in attendance.

Elsewhere, the Red Oak golf teams make their regular season debut Thursday when they host Griswold. The action starts at 4:30 p.m. at the Red Oak Country Club.

In other golf action, Southwest Valley will be on the road to face Bedford. The meet starts in Bedford at 4 p.m.

In tennis, Southwest Valley makes its debut when they host Glenwood. The meet starts at 4:30 p.m. at the McClellan Tennis Courts in Corning.
