Spay-Ghetti Dinner
The Third Annual benefit to raise funds in support of the Montgomery County Animal Rescue’s Spay and Neuter Assistance Program (SNAP) is underway in partnership with the Red Oak First Christian Church, where the event will be located.
Beginning at 4:30 p.m., Thursday, March 1, and lasting through 7 p.m., the event will feature a spaghetti meal with salad, bread and an ice cream sundae bar all for a free will donation.
There will also be a bake sale during the event featuring baked goods, candy, dog blankets and jelly.
The dog blankets were made by residents at Red Oak Rehab and Care Center and donated for the cause. They are available for purchase in large size for $20 and small size for $10.
The jellies were also made and donated by residents at Red Oak Rehab and include flavors such as strawberry/rhubarb and blueberry/rhubarb.
All profits will be used to fund SNAP certificates available to Montgomery, Mills, Cass, Page and Adams County residents. Call 370-0336 for additional information.
