Scoreboard: Stanton loses slugfest against Fremont-Mills

STANTON — The Stanton Vikings baseball team lost 18-14 to Fremont-Mills on Tuesday night.

Stanton had a 13-10 lead in the seventh inning, when the Knights scored eight runs, seven of them with two outs in the inning, to take the lead.

Clayton Wilson highlighted the inning with a grand slam home run.

Both teams had scored a combined 20 runs in the first three innings.

In softball, the Viqueens lost to Fremont-Mills, 4-3.

The difference in the game was a three-run third inning by the Knights.
