Scoreboard: Red Oak advances to regional final

CRESTON — The Red Oak Tigers came back from an 0-2 deficit to beat the Adel DeSoto Minburn (ADM) Tigers in the regional volleyball semifinals Thursday night.

ADM won games one and two 25-16 and 25-19. Red Oak kept their chances alive by winning the third game 25-23.

Red Oak then won game four 25-20 to force a game five, which they would win 15-8.

This marks Red Oak's second straight appearance in the 3A Regional Final.

Standing in the way of Red Oak's trip back to Cedar Rapids is the Harlan Cyclones, who handily defeated Glenwood Thursday night.

This will be the third time Red Oak and Harlan face each other this season. Harlan has won the first two matches.
