RED OAK/CRESTON — The Red Oak tennis teams picked up wins on Monday afternoon against Creston.

The girls were home and defeated the Panthers, 8-1. The boys were at Creston and defeated them by the same score.

The tennis teams will be back in action Thursday when they face Harlan. The girls will travel to Harlan and the boys will be home.

In golf, both Red Oak teams competed against Creston.

The girls narrowly lost to Creston, 259-263, in Red Oak. Marissa Sherman was the medalist for the meet, shooting a 51 for the afternoon.

The boys team lost 162-201 at Creston. Danny Carlson was the top scorer for the Tigers, shooting a 44.

Both teams will be in Atlantic Tuesday to compete in the Trojan Tourney.
