Sandra K. Allen, 64, and Richard B. Allen, 52

Sandra Kay Allen, 64, formerly of Red Oak, passed away April 22, 2011, in Houston, Texas. Her husband, Richard Bruce Allen, 52, passed away April 21, 1997, in Eugene, Ore.

Sandra Kay Allen was born to Delbert Lee Slater and Kathryn Gayle Wright July 5, 1946, in Red Oak.

Richard Bruce Allen was born to Don L. and Helen L. (Beck) Allen July 7, 1944, in Portland, Ore.

Sandra was preceded in death by her father, Delbert Slater; husband, Richard Allen; and brother, Dennis Slater.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents.

Sandra is survived by her mother, Kathryn Slater and brother, Alden Slater, both of Red Oak.

Richard is survived by his brother, Jim (Joyce) Allen, of Blakesburg, Iowa and sister, Linda Allen, of Monroe, Iowa.

Memorial graveside services will take place Thursday, June 23, at 11 a.m., at  Evergreen Cemetery in Red Oak. Sellergren-Lindell-DeMarce Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
