Ruth Scott, 89, of Red Oak, formerly of Malvern, passed away Feb. 6 at Red Oak Rehabilitation Center in Red Oak. Visitation will be held at First Methodist Church on Feb. 10 with family present to receive friends from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Funeral services for Ruth Scott will be Feb. 11, 2009 at 11 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Red Oak. Burial will be in the North Grove Cemetery near Hastings. Memorials are suggested to the First United Methodist Church in Red Oak. Ruth is survived by her husband, Carl Scott of Red Oak, and daughter, Lavonne (David) Doran of Elbert, Colo. Mansfield-Hertz Funeral Home of Malvern in charge of arrangements.
