Rinehart volleyball camp features more than 40 participants

RED OAK — The Montgomery County Family YMCA, in cooperation with the Red Oak Park and Tree Board, hosted a two-day Volleyball camp put on by Jessica Phillips-Rinehart, who was recently named head coach at the new Ankeny Centennial High School.

Rinehart, a former Red Oak High School standout, spent the last 12 seasons coaching collegiate volleyball.

Her most recent position was at Northwest Missouri State University, where she led the Bearcats to their 1st NCAA appearance in school history.

More than 40 girls participated in the camp held at the YMCA.

The YMCA will next be offering its annual summer volleyball camp on Monday and Tuesday, Aug. 5–6, at the Inman Primary School Gym.

This camp will be under the direction of Red Oak High School Head Varsity Volleyball Coach Angela Montgomery, her assistant coaches and 2013 high school players.
