Reynolds tours Red Oak Fab during SW IA visit

  Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds was in Red Oak Thursday, Nov. 30 as part of her “Building a Better Iowa Economy” tour.

 

During the Red Oak stop, Reynolds paid a visit to Red Oak Fabrication, which has been in operation for nearly 105 years. Reynolds and numerous representatives of the Red Oak community, including Mayor Bill Billings, city manager Brad Wright, Supervisors Chairman Bryant Amos, School Board President Mark Johnson, MCDC director Shawna Silvius, ROCIA representatives Susie Bormann, Elaine Carlson, Larry Brandstetter, and Tim Werges, and emergency services representatives Chief Justin Rhamy, Sheriff Joe Sampson, and Fire Chief John Bruce all were given a tour of the the plant at 2400 N. Broadway by owner Jeff Fort, and his sons, managers Jacob and Jordan Fort.
