Red Oak girls basketball falls to Atlantic

ATLANTIC—The Red Oak Tigers girls’ basketball team lost to the Atlantic Trojanns last Friday night, 47-26.

Red Oak was back in action Tuesday night against Clarinda, but results weren’t available at press time.

In their previous meeting against Clarinda, Red Oak lost that game, 47-22 on Dec. 10.

Gabi French finished that game with a double-double, scoring 10 points and grabbing 12 rebounds.

Clarinda’s top scorer for that game was Kaylee Buch, who finished with 12 points and also had a double-double when she grabbed 12 rebounds.

Friday night, the Tigers are home to play Glenwood and Saturday night they’re home again to face Tri-Center.

In their first match up with Glenwood, the Tigers fell short, 58-23.

French scored 10 points and had eight rebounds in the loss.

It will be the first time Red Oak plays Tri-Center this season.
