Red Oak, Coburg hosting city elections Tuesday
Red Oak and Coburg will both be hosting municipal elections Tuesday.
Voters in Red Oak have one contested race for a four-year term on the city council. Bill Bourlon is challenging incumbent Jeanice Lester for the at-large position on the council.
Scott Keith and Larry Barnett are both running for re-election unopposed in Ward One and Ward Three.
Mayor Bill Billings is also running unopposed for a third, two-year term.
In Coburg, there are three, four-year terms available on the city council, but no candidates have submitted paperwork to appear on the ballot.
Polls will be open from 7 a.m.-8 p.m. Locations to vote in Red Oak include the gold fair building (Ward 1), Red Oak fire station (Ward 2) and the First Christian Church (Ward 3). Coburg voters cast their ballots in the Stanton Community Center.
