Corning. Tackett began to cross Corning and was struck by Erickson’s vehicle. Tackett was issued a citation for failure to obey a stop sign.

On Sept. 17, at 6:07 p.m., a 2011 Chevy Silverado owned by Twin Pine Farms, Inc., and driven by Jeffery Mundorf, was southbound on N Ave. When he crested a hill just north of 120th St., a 1999 Ford F-150 owned and driven by Jeffrey Reynolds was eastbound on 120th St., coming to the intersection with N Ave. Mundorf was traveling within the speed limit, but was unable to stop. He attempted to avoid contact, but was unable and the front of Reynold’s pickup struck the Mundorf pickup near the back tire, sending it into a 360 degree spin and into the east ditch of the intersection. The Reynolds pickup went into the ditch at the southeast of the intersection and struck a tree. There were no reported injuries at the time of this report and no citations were issued because this is a blind intersection. The Elliott Fire Department and Red Oak Rescue assisted at the scene.
