Incident Reports

On Sept. 20 at about 5 p.m., officers took a report for a stolen bicycle. The bicycle was taken from the 500 block of E. Washington and was described as a girl’s black and pink bike with white handlebars and pink rims. At the time of the report, the incident was still under investigation.

Accident Reports

On Sept. 22 at about 3:20 a.m., Ryan Gillispie, 22, Kansas City, was headed west bound on Hwy 34 about .4 of a mile east of 200th St. Gillispie stated he fell asleep and was awoken by the sound of gravel from the north shoulder. He swerved, causing the the car to slide across the roadway and into the south ditch. The car rolled twice into a bean field.
Gillispie had a cut on his head and was transported to the Montgomery County Hospital by Red Oak Rescue. The car was totalled with an estimated $4,000 value, and the field sustained an estimated $800 worth of damage. No citations were issue.
