ACCIDENTS

• On Sunday, Nov. 19, at 12:44 a.m., Iowa State Highway Patrol officers investigated an accident at J35 (200th Street) and 1st Street in Taylor County. Jody Reed, 30, Corning, driving a 2011 Lincoln MKS, was traveling east on J35 towards Gravity, when her vehicle left the road, entered the ditch on the east side, and struck a tree. A passenger in the car, Clintin Marshall, 23, Corning, was declared dead at the scene. Reed was transported to the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha by Lifenet.
