INCIDENTS
• On Nov. 7, at 8:30 a.m., Red Oak Police officers investigated a report of a student out of control at Red Oak High School. The juvenile was arrested for disorderly conduct and simple assault on a teacher. No injuries were reported. The juvenile was cited into juvenile court and released to parent.
ACCIDENTS
• On Nov. 7, at 7:27 a.m., Red Oak Police officers investigated a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of 5th and Corning streets. Allen Wilson, 54, Red Oak, driving a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee was traveling west on Corning Street. Lee Morrison, 22, Henderson, driving a 2013 Hyundai Elantra, was traveling north on 5th Street, failed to stop at the stop sign until the intersection was safe to enter, and struck the Wilson vehicle. Damage to the Wilson vehicle was about $2,000, and damage to the Morrison vehicle was estimated at $3,000. Morrison was cited for no insurance – accident related and failure to obey stop sign. No injuries were reported.
