ACCIDENTS
• On Sept. 4, at 7:06 p.m., Red Oak Police officers investigated a hit-and-run accident in the parking lot of Dollar General. According to the report, the owner of the 2014 Chevrolet Malibu, Angela Staudt, went into Dollar General at about 6:30 p.m., and when she came back to the parking lot at about 7 p.m., she noticed a tire rub mark on the front of the driver side rear wheel well as well as a scratch on the driver side rear wheel. There were no other witnesses or any other signs of the other vehicle’s damage. Cost to the vehicle is estimated at $1,500.
