ACCIDENTS

• On Aug. 12, at 10:45 a.m., Montgomery County Sheriff’s deputies investigated a one-vehicle accident in the Casey’s parking lot in Villisca. Norma Parish, 77, Villisca, driving a 2016 Chevrolet Cruze, was attempting to park and hit the gas pedal instead of the brake. Damage to the vehicle was about $4,500, and damage to the store was about $25,000. Not citations were issued, and there were no injuries.
