ACCIDENTS
• On May 27, at 5:12 p.m., Red Oak Police officers investigated a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of North 2nd and Joy streets. Hillary Tilton, 27, Red Oak, driving a 2012 Ford Fiesta, was traveling south on 2nd Street and Nicholas Mueller, 19, Red Oak, driving a 2003 Hyundai Elantra, was traveling east on Joy Street. According to the report, the Tilton failed to yield at the intersection with Joy Street and struck the Mueller vehicle. Damage to the Tilton vehicle was about $6,000, and damage to the Mueller vehicle was about $4,000. Tasha Green, a passenger in the Tilton vehicle, was transported by EMS for suspected injuries. Tilton was cited for failure to yield right of way.
